The Irish Coast Guard has a stock pile of equipment for wildlife in the event of a spill, stored in Donegal. To be able to respond to wildlife local volunteers will be trained to deal with the first few days of a spill, thus maximise the opportunity for a successful rehabilitation programme leading to survival to release and post release survival.
This training will be conducted in Killybegs Coast Guard Station
